Boiling to Death?

Urban myth has it that if you put a frog in a pot filled with tepid water and gradually heat it, the frog will adjust its body temperature accordingly. When the water is about to reach boiling point, the frog decides to jump out. At this stage, it has lost all its strength and eventually boils to death.

What killed the frog? The boiling water or its inability to decide when to jump out?

Neither ignorance nor hope is in any way a solution to the demise that is unfolding in front of our eyes. You need to act.

Imagine our beloved country, South Africa, being the pot of boiling water and you being the frog. Because of the gradual decline of our country, you have “adjusted” yourself and grown accustomed to the worsening surroundings and situation. Neither ignorance nor hope is in any way a solution to the demise that is unfolding in front of our eyes. You need to act.

“But what can we do? Surely not all of us can leave the country?” Nor should you.

Firstly I would suggest a mindset shift. Start to think and do differently. Have a look at my guides here to get you going on this journey. Perhaps if you can free your mind you can find ways to challenge the current constraints holding you back.

Secondly, if you decide to stay in South Africa, then at least you can put your capital to work elsewhere. With good and proper offshore structuring you can deleverage and de-risk whilst still enjoying the beauty of our country.

Do not wait until the boiling point. Act now.
