Inflection

In a sense 2020 was needed. Not because of Covid-19 and the lasting negative impact this had and continue to have on families and businesses all round, but rather to force us human beings to reflect and start acting differently.

The inflection point was reached. There is no returning to the normal you knew.

The inflection point was reached. There is no returning to the normal you knew. The way in which you perceived your surroundings and dealt with or managed your health changed. How and what you thought about schooling changed. General interactions, conveying oneself as well as how we engage in the workplace has substantially changed.

“The only constant is change. Those who embrace the consistency of change, who are comfortable with being inconvenienced and being able to adapt quickest are the ones which will thrive in the future. The path to success, either in life or business, is nonlinear and certainty over clarity is ill-founded.”

The only constant is change. Those who embrace the consistency of change, who are comfortable with being inconvenienced and being able to adapt quickest are the ones which will thrive in the future. The path to success, either in life or business, is nonlinear and certainty over clarity is ill-founded. The 2020 inflection point provided all of us with the opportunity to embrace change. Ask yourself what you can do differently now to plan and ensure that your future is not once again upheaved without having the necessary gear in place to tackle the mountain. And believe me, many more mountains are still to come.

Embrace change. Remember: It is about the journey, not the destination. Embrace the Nomad in you.
